Welcome to Modern C10, where our passion for C10 trucks shines in every American-made part we craft. Our small, expert team puts heart into each high-quality piece, ensuring you get the best for your DIY projects. Let's build your dream truck together!
The Ridetech rear StrongArm system replaces the stock trailing arms or leaf springs in 1963-1972 Chevrolet and GMC C10 trucks. It works with either Coil-Over or Shockwaves and offers a 6” drop at ride height (up to 10” fully deflated w/ ShockWaves). Increased compression travel, corrected pinion angle and superior shock absorber technology provide dramatic improvements to handling and comfort.
The front trailing arm crossmember is designed to allow the exhaust to be ran through it rather than under it, providing additional ground clearance. Tubular trailing arms are manufactured from 2” DOM tubing reducing flex and creating attachment points for the shocks and optional sway bar. Heavy-duty frame notches increase compression travel (maintaining load capacity) and integrates with the upper shock crossmember. The low mount panhard bar drops the roll center height to minimize body roll and is adjustable for centering of axle. The panhard bar and trailing arms feature the patented R-Joint rod ends which combine the best qualities of low friction movement, lateral stability, full range articulation, and quiet operation into one special bearing that is as home on the street as it is on the racetrack!
Compatible with all bed and cab configurations. Requires use of 1 piece drive shaft. Shim kit required for installation in wood bed applications (part # 11337299).
